shaving emblems

i shaved my emblems but im not sure how to go about the subaru emblem in the piece in the back does anyone know how to remove this or have any alternatives?

you can tint over it or buy a JDM center piece (which is a tad wider) but says 'Legacy'.

 

its molded into the lense, it wont come off - even with a dremel sander

 

i played with my usdm one to see what i could do with it..those are your only options

Wait just a minute! What do you mean you "shaved" the emblems? Is there an easy way to remove them? I thought the trunk had holes and they were snapped in.

they have holes for the adhesive to hold better but the backs of the emblems are flat

 

its only for the 'Legacy' emblem though, 2.5GT and L/LS/LSi are just stick on...the brighton is a sticker itself

the term "shaved" is loosely used for removing emblems on a car.

i always thought that was called de-badging. shaving to me is removing excess crap sticking out from body lines, like shaving door handles or rain gutters and such.
