I just got my HID kit in and will be installing them hopefully today or tomorrow. I tried to pop out one of the headlights but couldn't. Whats the trick and/or is it even required for the install? Windy Road Posted June 8, 2010 Share Posted June 8, 2010 You shouldn't have to remove the headlights to install the HID's in a 05-09 legacy. Gire Posted June 8, 2010 Share Posted June 8, 2010 You could search for "Headlight Clearing with pics" by Rexmobbin, for a detailed thread on how to remove the front clip on the 05--09 Legacy.
