Does anybody have these wheels on their 6th gen? If so, any pics?

Have a look back at the start of this thread as there are a lot of wheels/offsets posted up with pics.

The 18x8 ET40 would be very close to being a flush fit. You only have to measure out 15mm from stock wheels to work out where they are going to sit.

Those look great. I think silver looks best with...silver.

Finally took my snows off and put these Tire Rack specials on.

I don't think these have been done on a gen6.

Personally if I were going down this path I'd be going 19's as this design makes the wheel look smaller than it actually is.

There's a lot of rim and not a lot of spoke in the RPF1 design.

Right, if I got RPF1's I will want 19's. What would be the widest I could go while getting the best performance traction but not too much bite into the road where I will be sacrificing mpg. I want toyo tires, top choice is R888's or T1R's. What is one step closer to grip(6/10) vs. closer to better mpg's (4/10). 255? 265? 275? Or how wide would the rim be..

I'm running 18x8.5 and have 245/45R18 tyres. Personally I have found with the extra width and better rubber (Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2's) there's a big step up in grip.

It's going to depend on what is available in the rim design that you're looking at. You could go 19x9 ET45-50 and run something like 255/40R19's.

I don't think with the power in the Legacy 2.5 that you'll be breaking traction...

Recommendations on rim widths/tyre sizes: http://www.tyresizecalculator.com/tyre-wheel-calculators/tyre-size-for-rim-size-width-calculator

7.5": 215-225

8.0": 225-235

8.5": 235-245

9.0": 245-255

You can go one size larger/smaller on above, however you will end up with the sidewall either being stretched or a slightly bulge

In the end of the day we're talking about aesthetics.

And/ or tire costs. There are some good rebate deals/ prices on certain sizes and by certain manufacturers.

I think the height would be perfect if the front is lower by 1/2", it sits higher than the rear, even with driver and passenger inside the car.

I completely agree. If there was a way to lower the front 1/4-1/2 in. without much work or cost I'd consider it. Lowering springs drop too much for my liking and bottoming out is also a concern for me.

It's cheap and easy to lift up the back that much with just some saggy bum strut spacers but I hate to do that. Height is not your friend when it comes to handling:p
