esnyman Posted September 30, 2013 Share Posted September 30, 2013 Hi there, I just replaced my front right axle and now have a new problem. When I start the car it idles as normal, but when I put it in drive or reverse it vibrates, this is before I even start moving. When I just start moving it vibrated a bit, but it goes away as I speed up. Also, when I put the car in park it makes a click sound, and then idles normally again. I had to pound the axle in so am worried that I damaged something in the transmission. Any suggestion? Thanks for your help! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Had a new, not remanufactured, FEQ brand axle installed on my 5eat, and now the car vibrates in gear. Going to replace the new axle with a remanufactured one.
