fender flares on a lgt?

Recommended Posts

saw a sti a few months ago in super street that had Karlton fender flares bolted onto it, and i gotta say i love the wider look. i have always personally thought the legacy could use a more "curvy" look.

i searched through the forums for a solid 15 mins and didnt come up with anything. has anyone seen a 4th gen with flares? or know anything regarding?

At least it's not some stanced out pile of crap. The chassis set up is pretty nice imo.

SuperStreet super sucks and my LGT would roast that STI.

OP you need to try WAY harder.

I was just inquiring about getting only the fender flares from the Corazon aero kit. To make it really easy, here's the rest of the details.

That (super street) car is local to me, and the previous two owners were very much "show" not go with their cars, however it has since been sold and the new owner is going to be tracking it. He is still leaving the power mods as is for now untile he gets everything else dialed in.

from what I have seen in these I think you confused what I said. those are, from what I can see, either, full fenders and/or the corazon kit. which is lovely, and the fender shape is exactly what I am after, but it looks like a full body kit which is much more than I need.

as for the outback the look is close! but I want them a little wider and I insist on the bolted look cause I'm a giant douche. haha thanks for the input though. when I have free time later I'll take a stab with my pops to make my own moldings

I did not mean you literally wanted the bolt on look like MrCakes. I wonder how hard it would be to modify OB flares rather than start from scratch.

From this thread, http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/corazon-wide-body-wagon-164054.html , the obxt fender & the lgt fender are the same. Just the obxt fender has holes punched in it for the flare. So...OB flares should bolt right up.

If you wanted to get the actual clearance associated with the OB flares, you'll need to do some work. But you knew that.

Not the wrong car, just need to think outside the box. :-)

Giro Disc has done a few - http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-one-off-custom-mods-thread-132678.html?t=132678

monoCraft in Japan created 4 car models based on the 06 Legacy. All of which had a variety of full metal flare solutions. One of which is this: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/does-someone-flare-rear-fender-like-thisii-74211.html?t=74211

Johan (formerly Giro Disc) could do a set of flares for you. You'd probably have to send the car out to him in Bellingham, WA. :-)
