jagoulet
I have a '96 Legacy Outback, 2.2, manual I am having the steering rack replaced. Would be fine except the lines that attach to it fell apart. Not having any luck finding replacements, new or used. Any suggestions??? Relevant information ? thanks! John Mass
Osei
According to opposed forces, the lines from any US Legacy from Mar 94-May 98 are the same. Location? O.
jagoulet
I am in Mass. I had good luck this morning. Went to a salvage yard and got an entire rack. When it was removed, they cut the lines I need on the car side of the couplings, leaving them in good shape. I bought the whole thing for $40. The couplings are now soaking in Liquid Wrench but are in very good shape and should come off fine. (the boots on the old rack looked good so for all I know it is usable too)
