blitzen4me
My calipers and rotors on my 05 Legacy has quite a bit of rust on them. I had them machined at 48K but the rust comes back quite quickly. Any suggestions on how to clean them up and keep them rust free (or to a minimum)? whitetiger
normal. drive and the rust on the important parts goes away. rust on the inside and outside edges of the rotor surface is normal as well as on the calipers. you could paint the caliper and the paint will seal the surfaec and you wont see rust. as for the rotors, some aftermarket rotors come with a coating in the rust prone areas to prevent it. blitzen4me
thanks... I check out my friend's 2001 mini and the stock calipers and rotors look great...no rust what so ever... and he doesn't even take care of it that much. will have to paint the calipers before winter. Thanks again.
