Just filled up this morning at the new Valero on Broadway and C-470 (the gas station by AMC 24) and they now sell E-85!!! That just sold me on converting over...maybe 2 miles from my house....hello horsepower and cheap clean fuel.

great to know, I'm on a stg2e tune w/ Eric of Torqued Perf, stock fueling and the car is driving good. Any idea what the cost is, the other station on Colorado and County Line is 3.29/gal which isnt optimal. Nice to have 2 station here in the Ranch to pick from :)

If your stock turbo/injectors you dont need much to convert, I just have a walbro FP and all else is stock, running about 92% or so on stock injectors now, thanks to altitude. At sea level would def need bigger injectors, and or if you have a bigger turbo injectors are a must

The price was $2.99/gal last week.

I just bought Power Enterprise 850cc sidefeed injectors and a Deatschwerks 300lph fuel pump from bighaus90. I need to get in contact with Eric and get tuned for E-85.

Sorry I missed the meet... my subie is still on jacks in the garage for some maintainence that is taking way to long.

Dang it I just filled up at the other station and it was still 3.29/gal. I wasnt near the other station but will be going by there for now on if its cheaper, thanks for that Info.

FYI Cryo is also doing road tuning if you want to get a 2nd opinion on the e85 tune. Dont get me wrong Eric is great but he is moving out of state soon so depending on when your ready to get a tune you might have to make a choice between a local tuner or getting a etune from Eric. I talked with Cryo at the meet and he specialized in just LGT's mostly and Eric is more a WRX specialist.

Well guys I am the newest LGT on corn! I got in touch with Cryo for some road tuning. First he made a 91 tune that felt real good and was producing more power, quicker and smoother than the MikeyD's stage II map I was running. Not to say anything bad about MikeyD's map, it was a great base tune that worked well across the board.

I drove the 91 tune for a week and it was running great. Met back up with Cryo and drove around to run out of gas before filling up with E-85. OH MY GOD!!!! The car is a torque beast. Cryo was were able to get 259 whp and 296 wt according to Virtual Dyno. I am currently catless with a Deatschwerks 300lph fuel pump. Stock injectors and stock top mount until I can get my IPR top mount to fit correctly.

If any local guys are looking for a local tuner, I would highly recommend Cryo. He is a great guy and he treats your car and tune like his own and won't stop till he is positive that it is safe and strong.

Good to hear on Cryo's tune on your LGT, I met w/ him this weekend to get some brake work done and he mentioned tuning your car so glad to hear it worked out well. I agree with your impression that he really does want to do the work correctly and that he'll treat your car just like his own. I'll be seeing him for more work soon. And welcome to the e85 club, pretty fun huh

I had to copy Legend and take this photo!

Ha.. first time I poked my head into this thread... I don't know how you knew I had that pic.. checked my vbgarage and not in there.

Also, I don't know if this station is new or not but I drove down to Colorado Springs the other day and there is a Western right off I-25 in Castle Rock. Seems like there was always some guy in Castle Rock complaining about not having E85, so I was surprised to see that.

It was your avatar for a while after you first got on E85 so long ago. I always thought it was a cool idea for a picture and wanted to follow the E85 revolution.

Now I want to go to bandimere with you guys!

Wanted to make sure everyone saw this, it's posted in Turbo Powertrains.

Congress may add a $.38 tax to each gallon of E85.

Use this link to send a letter to your Representatives to avoid a price hike, and possibly lowered E85 availability.

I am keeping the wrenching on a case by case basis more geared for performance. The tuning is my real joy but sometimes one brings the other.

Putnamco- thanks for spreading the word on the tax increase.
