quantum Posted January 31, 2007 Share Posted January 31, 2007 I just noticed the past few days that I have a stragne squeek/rattle noise comming from just the driver side exhaust pipe and only at idle (cannot hear it from inside, but if you leave your car to idle and walk around back). Sometimes it's very quiet and other times I can really hear it; but it repeats pretty quick (about 3 times per second) and sounds like the noise is traveling down the pipe and not from the exhaust moving or anything. I suppose it could be the turbo spinning slowly at idle, but that sound should come from both pipes I would think. Any ideas what it could be or does anyone else have the same sound? Thanks.
