sfeeneyaz
would the mufflers bolt on to stock and would u part it out both mufflers
tommypenguin
I think the borla mufflers would bolt up to the stock y but you don't get any gains from the mufflers. The gains really come from the mid pipe and y pipe, the mufflers are just for show. No wouldn't part out sorry, if anybody would like to hear my exhaust before it comes off, let me know I'll be around this weekend.

VtspecB
Mated to the right down pipe its a match made in heaven. I've got a Cobb DP mated to a Borla here ... its exactly the exhaust note I was looking. my vBGarage
NewLegGT67
Tommypenguin, Did you used any aftermarkey hangers for the exhaust or did you still with the stock? I just ordered the Kartboy exhaust hangers for my Perrins. I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3. tommypenguin
Tommypenguin, Did you used any aftermarkey hangers for the exhaust or did you still with the stock? I just ordered the Kartboy exhaust hangers for my Perrins. I didn't need aftermarket exhaust hangers for the borla or the perrin. With the perrin though I needed to flex some heat shield out of the way so that my mid pipe wouldn't rattle against it, also one of the muffler tips was tapping the metal right behind the rear bumper. I had to trim that metal up a little bit so it would be out of the way and there would be no rattle. Did you just purchase a perrin catback? You wouldn't need after market hangers for it. I must have been luckier than you as I did not have to do any of the things you did. Are you happy with your Perrin exhaust? I really like mine. tommypenguin
Definitely is luck of the draw with aftermarket exhaust fitment. I just about always have had some kind of minor issue with every aftermarket exahust piece i have ever gotten. I do like the perrin though all things considered, it looks nice and sounds very clean.
