f1anatic
Ok I will play nice. The short answer is NO. The long answer is: RTF-Accesport-M ! and search up the website. Start here Cobb Accessport & ECUTek Info LOOK HERE FIRST! http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?p=122327#post122327 This is from the 2005-2006 Accessport Manual Can the AccessPORT be detected by Dealerships? If the AccessPORT has been uninstalled from the vehicle (Unmarried, Reverted to Stock), then the AccessPORT does not leave behind any specific markers or other data in an effort to leave any traces. There are currently no "flash counters" in use by the DENSO/Subaru ECUs that anyone is aware of. There are no guaranteed implied or otherwise by AccessECU, COBB Tuning or any distributors that the AccessPORT will be undetectable by Subaru. Use at your own risk. mickeyd2005
I disagree. I think the factory can tell on the new CANBUS ecus. Just my opinion. In any case, you shouldn't tune (or get your car tuned) if you are worried about voiding your warranty.
Town
My service advisor casually told me they can see a flash count if they want to look.
Gire
They know all. They have ways. Don't mess with them if you want to remain in their full-warranty golden book.
CoSpringsSpecB
Check out the dealers, if u have different options... some are more tuner friendly and honestly could care less... others even hear a aftermarket exhaust and they frown.
