Why won't a new OEM line work ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. kirshnerd Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 I highly doubt you'll fee a difference in the clutch line being SS braided or OEM. There's too much play and movement elsewhere in the system, unlike brakes where SS braided lines hold the higher pressure of pushing harder on a pedal that's not moving when you push harder.
