how does SOA pay charge 101.72 for a harness?

$40 mark up is still steep. do the math, thats almost 100%.

how does this part cost $100 when the Sub bought from Suby costs $250?

is the wiring harness made of gold?

its called mark up, they gotta pay employees, electric, benefits, insurance, cost to operate, etc ... the list goes on.

although it is steep and i wouldnt buy theyre are other ways to skin a cat, you can get a harness for the sub from that guy that makes the forward/reverse harness very cheaply.

Did you talk to Manchester about adjusting price after?

why should I have too? I'll just take my business elsewhere.

No He just came onto the board and bashed away

My mom taught me when I was a kid to allways find out who I am talking too before I make any decisions concerning that person.:icon_wink

Someone is zoomin someone here.

When I called Manchvegas Subaru to buy the Uber-armrest, they told me, "If you buy it online at SubaruProParts.com it will be less expensive, and you can pick it up here and save the shipping cost." Which I did. Don't remember the price but it was good.

Sooo, I just looked at subaruproparts.com and that part # you describe is listed for $75.00.

I looked it up on subaruparts.com and it's $77.51.

$2.51 won't make me a customer for life though - that's about 47 days of loyalty.

not quite sure what your asking?

Its a $40 mark up any way you look at it.

You're certain you asked for the right part? It's right there on the website at $75.

$75.00-61.03 = $13.97.

That's an 18.6% gross profit margin. My business doesn't sell anything with less than a 20% margin, so I'm not sure what you expect. It's also a 22.8% "Markup" but that's just the difference in math - don't calculate your tax rate that way or you'll be bummin.

Subaruparts = 21.3%.
