boostinroo Posted March 29, 2010 Share Posted March 29, 2010 i justs recently picked up a 05 LGT and it throws a p0171 bank 1 system lean code... the car is completly stock except it does have a perin short ram intake on it but other than that completly stock. i was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and what they found to be the problem was. any info would be appreciated thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
boosted subaru Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 A aftermarket air intake on the legacy gt should never be installed with out a tune. It can make a engin run lean from what i understand. It can also cause damage to the engin. Idk if the intake is causeing the code but you should put back on the stock air box if you have it, or get your car tuned for the intake. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
