ericem
Hey guys looking to narrow down this issue. ATM i physically see no issues on a hoist. This is my issue to be exact lets say mainly on a day near or below freezing if I am going straight and i floor it from a stand still there is a noticeable grinding from the rear end. It is much much more audible when cold if anything it is non existent this noise when warm out! It is also louder turning. Keep in mind noise is only there 1st gear full throttle hitting boost hard... I want to get this narrowed down before i put my new turbo, dp, and tune seems important
eljefe1981
I heard the same thing the other day. I thought that it was probably some sand and rocks that was stuck to my wheels. But now I'm interested to see if anybody is experiencing the same and can tell us what it is and how it could be fix.
RabidWombat
Rear end and increased noise while turning would point to a differential, but that's a semi-educated guess at best.
ericem
forgot to update atleast I am not alone with this sound I hear. I will change the rear diff probably monday and see if it eliminates the problem in cold weather.
