I Donated broknindarkagain Posted March 10, 2011 I Donated Share Posted March 10, 2011 ...it is so hard... .......am i the only one that saw that? lol your pump may be dying. Are you running stock size tires? If you're running oversize tires / rims, your wheels may be scrubbing and hitting something -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." 98sc00byGT
lol yes you are the only ones and yes stock tires but how does a pump die if it has full fluid and has never been low, could it be the rack?
I Donated broknindarkagain Posted March 10, 2011 I Donated Share Posted March 10, 2011 it could be the gears in your rack binding up, but its likely the pump. They wear out over time, just like any other part on the car. I would start with the pump since its the cheaper and easier thing to do. you can lift up your car and shake down the front end to see if anything has any play. if the gears in the rack are worn out, then you will have lateral movement on the tires when you shake them. does the pump make any noise when it gets "really hard" lmao -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." I Donated broknindarkagain Posted March 10, 2011 I Donated Share Posted March 10, 2011 best thing for you to do is take it to a Sears auto and ask for a steering and suspension eval. its free. This problem is impossible to diagnose over the internet. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
