qikslvr Posted February 28, 2008 Share Posted February 28, 2008 Just depends upon how well the flanges all mate up. Usually the y-pipe to muffler unions will seal without hi-temp silicone, but the downpipe to midpipe union may need a little goo to get it 100% sealed.
