Official Satin Pearl White Thread (2010)

Hi all.

Neither my wallet or my license could handle the GT so I grabbed a 6sp manual Legacy 2.5i sport in white. It comes with the spoiler, the 17" rims and not much else. I've dropped it 2 inches and plan to grab some 18" inch rims for it next year. My previous car was a black 1999 Legacy 2.5GT also lowered with KYB coilovers. The 99 GT is still running today and has over 400,000 kms on it. Let's hope the 2011 Legacy gives me as much loyalty as the 99.

Here are pics. I've edited the first one and added the rims I want on it. ;) I also posted a pic of the 99 Legacy.

Cheers !

whats your suspension and wheel set up on the white one...looks nice man!

I installed Bilstien shocks and Tein HD springs. All in all it was a great combo and gave a perfect 2 inch drop. I still think it has excessive roll when cornering so I see a rear sway in my future.

Compared to my 99 GT the 2011 is heavier, bigger and lightly sprung. Subaru really went after the Accords and Camry's when they re-did this model. Well, not after I'm done with it. :)

I hope not

Nice license plate 2WDBITES :)

Thank you.

I retired that plate with the new Legacy. Originally I walked into the ministry intending to get "2WDSUCKS" but the government won't allow the word SUCKS in a plate. Not fair !

Wheels look great theene. What are they? Specs?

Bruce those wheels sadly were photoshopped in by myself one day when I was deciding on a style for the car.

They're off a Maserati Gran-T I believe. I've spec'd out rims for my legacy and it turns out there's limited selection in the size and offset the car requires.

This summer I hope to buy a set of 18's in black.

Cheers.

Nice vid, but you don't use a separate washing cloth/ sponge for the rims alone?

The rims get done after the body is done. And then the wash mit gets thrown into the washing machine. I used to have a sepperate wheel mit, but my son used it for something else and ruin it.

Thanks guys!

Well done!!

One suggestion for next time.....girls in bikinis.

You know, I wanted those girls, but if you notice in the back ground of the wider shots, there is snow on the ground and I was in a long sleave shirt.

But mostly my wife looks down on me hanging out with girls in bikinis for some reason. She really needs to get over that! ;)
