Canyonero Posted May 13, 2010 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Hi guys, I have a problem with my power windows*surprise*. I did a search and most of them say check the fuses. so i did and all are fine. So Fyi i did search. But the problem is none of the windows roll down. They rolled down once and was able to close but that was about it. any ideas what this could be? thanks! subikid90 Posted May 13, 2010 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Pull your door cards off, this is really easy. Check to make sure that everything is plugged in first. If not then check to make sure that none of the wires are cut. These wires are not to bad to trace around the car if you have a few hours to spend on it. If all of the wires look good you could check the switches to make sure they are not shot, this does happen if they see enough water. Check those things and see if you can't find the problem. If everything checks out then it might be something a little more difficult. Just to make sure you checked the fuse box inside the car? Hope this helps. something different Posted May 15, 2010 Share Posted May 15, 2010 actually it is not a short. everyone always says that, but it is just the opposite. no not a long, it is an OPEN. a 'short would blow a fuse almost instantly by the way. usually it is the master door switch. tom Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
