2005 gt will not start

Recommended Posts

I'm guessing fuel pump.

I gather there's no CEl...

Depending on how mechanical you are, you could break a fule line loose and get an idea how much pressure there is in the system. If you know what your doing.

The engine grounds would be another place to check and make sure they are all in good shape and clean. But I doubt they would cause this issue all of a sudden.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

could also be fuel pump relay. Which is a huge PIA to get to

Do you hear anything from the fuel pump when you turn the ignition on (but don't start the car)

This is a good one; turn key to ACC, then put your ear to the backseat. Should be able to hear it clicking.

suddenly my 2005 Legacy GT will not start it just cranks and cranks no sign of starting what so ever. Assistance needed. Please respond. within the past month all plugs have been changed ,mass air flow sensor changed, upflow o2 changed.

Did it run AFTER all that was changed, or did you do it all at once and now it won't start?
