dr. pepper Posted February 12, 2009 Share Posted February 12, 2009 So i'm back at Hofstra for the spring term, and I chose to bring down my new car, an '87 Mercedes 420SEL. I brought down a bunch of car detailing odds and ends, but what I can't seem to locate here is one of those coin operated car washes with the bays and the high pressure guns that allow you to spray your car yourself. If I don't wash my car in my driveway, which is rare, I always go to these type of washes. Does anyone know of a spray it yourself wash anywhere near Hofstra? I'm in hempstead, near garden city, uniondale, levittown, and mineola. Any help is appreciated, my car is hella dirty! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

EquinnoxX Posted February 13, 2009 Share Posted February 13, 2009 There is one not too far away in Bethpage (I think). Just take Hemp turnpike all the way down (its a bit before the SOB). I think there is a burger king / autozone on that corner. Its on the left next to the Starbucks (with a drive thru). I'm pretty sure I've seen it open in the winter.
