new Osram h7 bulb

Osram offers an new h7 halogen headlight bulb option in Europe, the "Night Breaker". They claim "With them you have compared with standard lamps up to 90% more light on the road - corresponds to one up to 35m longer light cone!"

Good find! Not a word is printed about their power consumption, that I can find. If these guys are 100W, they will surely damage the headlight housing and maybe the wiring also. On the other hand, if they are 65W or lower, I would be interested in trying them out.

A seller from Estonia has them on eBAy, and says they are 55W. Hard to believe that a 55W bulb can give up to 90% more light on the road.

I am interested also, only if it was a 55w set. How much were they on eBay?
