Spooie
Hey all, Just put a newer set of wheels on the car. They are 17" drag dr-9s. Ive heard of some people putting hub rings on. Does anyone know if they are needed with these wheels? Do people actually use them?
Hanger
depends on the hub core size of those wheels. Subaru hub core size is 56.1mm, if the wheel centerbore size is larger than hub centric ring is recommended ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
Jack Giovo
My wheels came with them and my mechanic suggested using them so I did. There is one problem - when rotating or installing winter tires be SURE they come off with the wheel as if they stay on and another wheel with one on it already or the stock wheel is installed over it - it will lead to serious problems as the bolts will not torque correctly and possibly the loosing of a wheel or stripped stud. 06legsleeper
i needed hub rings also as my new rims were 73.1 hub bore.. subbie is 56.1 so .. i found a great set on esm wheels there laser cut metal rings . only 25 bucks shipped if i was you id get them for sure .. as a diff bore size can cause major wobble at speeds
