c-lo
sounds like it. or dead battery. clutch position switch you'd be getting absolutely nothing. 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
el scorcho
Don't think it's the battery because I still get power (radio, lights, etc.) when i turn the key

SpeedNeeder
What was the answer? I had the rapid clicks after work today. My other car is a 1993 Chevy S-10 Tahoe! (Currently being driven to failure by my nephew)
Rytanium
Same thing happend to me, ('08 auto transmission) it'll turn over after a couple of tries, but i would still like to know what the problem is... could you post a link?
iNVAR
Wow, this thread is old.. hrm. Rapid clicks usually indicate the battery. Just because you have enough juice to run lights and locks and other things doesn't mean it's enough to turn the starter motor. That requires a LOT of juice.
