Good car security?

Happy new year everyone!

 

Tires got slashed last week , got me thinking if i should invest in a security system for my car. I was hoping you guys could recommend some good brands.

 

 

*wasnt too sure where to post this. correct me if this is in the wrong place.

I'm not sure if they do business up in Canada but insurance is your best bet.

And how would a security system stop your tires from getting slashed?

 

it wouldnt but then i would know when it happens and i could come out and **** up whoevers doing it? Isnt the whole point of security systems is that it alerts you when something happens to your car.

Slashing of tires is very unlikely to set off any motion detection in an alarm. If it were set sensitive enough to detect the tire going flat then every fairly loud car or truck that went anywhere by the car would set it off.
