I need to get a 3" to 2.5" adapter from Jeremy at FBP. Then the DP can go on. But, I will prob wait until itsme finishes the new FMIC and go from stage 1 to stage 3, skipping stage 2 all together. If the FMIC is done in November, all I need are my TGV deletes and I am ready to go for it.

Someone at ERZ forgot to put my pipe out for UPS on time. My delivery has been rescheduled for 11/4 (tomorrow). The pipe missed the UPS guy on Friday, so it didn't leave until Monday. Sucks, cause I was home this afternoon to sign for it and will most likely be out tomorrow, so I will have to drive 2 towns over and pick it up.

Mine showed up today. I claim rights to being the first LGT member with one, possibly the first Legacy with one. Not yet installed, but lots of pics to start the write up. So, without further delay, the first pics of the new ERZ catted DP. :)

pic 1=the box after UPS kicked it around a bit.

pic 2=just to show the part numbers.

pic 3=whats in the box, could have used some more packing material.

pic 4=the goods.

pic 5=whats in the accessories box.

pic 6=the DP to Mid pipe flange. Pipe is pretty thin, but not too bad. Flange is CNC.

pic 7= DP to flange weld, looks good.

pic 8=O2 sensor bung (I said bung).

pic 9=Tranny bracket.

pic 10=CAT weld, looks good.

More pics.

pic 11=Cast to SS weld.

pic 12=Another angle.

pic 13=Again. Looks ok. Not as good as my Cobb, but less than 1/2 the price :).

pic 14=Wide band O2 bung (I said it again). Plug was in the accessories pack.

pic 15=The cast bell mouth.

pic 16=Down the bell mouth and you can see the CAT.

pic 17=The Casting from inside. Once again, not as clean as my Cobb, but not complaining.

Well, my first impression is pretty good. Packaging could have been better, but the pipe sustained no visible damage. Welds look good, no visible leaks, Flanges are flat and smooth. Wish the Cast to SS was a little cleaner, but it looks like it will hold up fine. Appears to have been at least welded properly. Cast is a little rough, but this also does not effect performance. Pipe seems a little thin (but I never micd my Cobb so I can not say for certain), I will know better once it is on the car and I can hear it. I will let you know if it sounds "tinny". Plenty of "accessories" but I will be using an OEM turbo to DP gasket and the stock hardware (at least everything was in the box). I will also be using a 3" to 2.5" adapter as my CBE is an SPT.

So I am initially impressed. I paid $285 delivered and it actually showed up undamaged and SHINY! Now to see how well it fits. Stay tuned.

I'm praying it fits with no modifications... Looks great so far. I think I will put some header wrap on mine... What size adapter do I need for the DP to my stock CBE? 3" to 2.25"? When is it getting installed??

^ You need a 3" to 2.5" adapter. Fred Beans sells them pretty cheap. I will be getting one from them. I get paid Friday and will order it then.

Once the adapter shows up I might just pull a "test fit" if I am not ready with the rest of my mods. So, if all goes well, and I have time I could possibly "test fit" next weekend for the write up.
