Muzza Posted July 24, 2007 Share Posted July 24, 2007 Hi I recall finding a thread somewhere about being able to change the tuner band range between Euro and US frequencies on the McIntosh (Clarion) stereos through a programming sequence??? I have aquired a new model McIntosh head unit (07/08 model - that plays mp3's and has aux input etc....hooray!!) which I am fitting in my 04 GT wagon but it is a JDM spec so the fm band range is incorrect. Is there an alternative to installing a band expander for this model? It's not the end of the world if I need a band expander but thought if I don't need it I may as well save my money.
