So whats the news? (Sorry LOL there is a used set floating around the local Subaru forum and I need to know if it works 100% before I buy it... hopefully no one beats me to it.

Sorry. I had everything installed on Friday. My installer had to raise the motor and disconnect the headers to get the front sway bar installed. He had to lower the sub frame to get the bushings installed. The total labor was $495.00 @$90.00 an hour. Unless you have one hell of a garage and a hoist I do not recommend installing these yourself. I have to get it aligned to see the diff. Once I do I will post pics in a new thread.

Damn, there goes my plans for a DIY... but I have around -2 degrees of camber in the back.... dont want to kill my tires as well so it would be worth it.

But assuming from your findings, it fits and works so I might pull the trigger... or just get camber plates?

I did some research and never heard of camber plates? This will definitely allow camber adjustment in the rear. I only had 1 degree whitch was amazing because you could really see it.

Camber plates fit on top of the strut towers to give you adjustability of camber from there... more expensive than camber bushings though.

And yeah, again, you seem pretty happy with it so I'm gonna go out and get them (2008+ STi Whiteline KCA326 Rear Camber Bushings ) :D

No rubbing at all... but im getting rear camber bushings to get zero negative camber out back... i have -2 degrees right now lol.

Ill tell you what happens after that.

yeah let me know cuz I might get the camber bushings before I get wheels.

The swifts and the tein springs look pretty comparable the front looks loss on the teins but the back looks lower on the swifts imo good comparison pictures blklgt05

If you look closely, there's a 2 finger wheel gap in the front & rear for the Swift. Swift's drop is f1.3"/r1.15" and Swift does not sag due to material. On the Swift, the rear wheel gaps are just a tiny bit more than the front, but the overall drop of the car is perfectly even.

The Teins do drops a lot more than Swift though if that's what you're going for. Tein s-tech drops f1.8"/r1.6" +regular break-in sag.

or just get camber plates?

Camber plates won't do anything in the rear of our cars, even if someone did make them. Moving the strut top in and out won't affect the camber at all. The bushings are really the only option.

No rubbing.

^+1 for RCE Blacks! No slowing down for speed bumps or driveways, I can take them faster now than when the car was stock. Can anyone else truly say that for their springs?
