I replaced the timing belt and it wont start i lined up all marks but now it sounds like it out of time and fails to start what is the procedure to set the crank and cam sprockets before putting on the belt?

Pull the #1 spark plug.

(may be) pull the valve cover on that side,

put a screw driver in the plug hole.

rotate the crank by hand until the piston is at the highest point.

verify no spring pressure on the valves for #1

That's TDC.
