Chappy5107
More than likely the electronic motor that changes the different flows is bad. I had to replace mine not to long ago. Mine wouldn't open the defroster, you can drop the glove box and press the button and look and see if the motor is actually moving or not.
05LegacyGTArmyguy
im thinking the same thing. I saw somewhere in the forums some kind of actuator is the culprit
Chappy5107
Yea there are two on the passenger side the bottom one is for he passenger temp control and the upper one is for the flow divider. Quite a pain to reach but can be done with simple tools and time
ppettit2005
I have the exact same issue, except air is coming out of all of my vents all the time plus there's that annoying whirring/clicking sound. a solution would be much appreciated.
lingling1337
Mine blows air as if its on fan setting one when its off. So I have to turn it to ~70 before I turn it off so it doesn't keep shooting cold air.

Same thing happened to me, wound up replacing the servo motor which wasn't that hard, just make sure you have a shorty Philips head screwdriver.
