Any one with pics of B4 RSK/UK WRX 17" wheels on a 4th gen legacy

Recommended Posts

Hi All, tried searching but haven't been able to find pics of 17" UK17 / b4 RSK rims on a 4th gen legacy (sedan or wagon doesn;t matter). These are the rims I'm talking about:

Anyone have a pic that they can share? Just want to see what these wheels look like on a 4th gen. before buying (and also want to confirm that they fit properly).

Thanks.

Look like the 16" WRX rims from previous years only larger. You'd have good luck finding a picture of a Legacy running those I'm sure. A lot of people use them for winter rims.

As far as fitment goes I'd say it's a very good chance but you'll want to make sure.

I do! I think I'm one of the only 4th gen on the internet running these wheels, I pretty much bought them sight unseen and took a leap of faith that they'd look good.

They're very high offset, (+53 I believe) so they aren't very aggressive looking, but definitely look like a stock wheel. I like them because I can beat on them offroad without worrying that they're expensive. (They replaced my Prodrive 18") Plus, the dirt blends right in :)

wow thanks Burnout!!! Man I've been scouring the Internet for hours with no luck. Thanks my friend. Those are some great looking rims BTW. Are yours the gunmetal/bronzish color? Also, are you sure they are +53mm? I've read that they are +55mm. Not that a couple of millimeters would matter anyway, i guess.

Oh yeah, do you mind letting me know how much you paid for your set, and what condition they were in when you bought them (rash, etc). You can PM me if you like. I just want to make sure that I don't overpay...

I know how ya feel! My jaw dropped when I saw that you were looking for pics of these on a Legacy to be honest. Now that you mention it, +55mm does sound right. My prodrives were +53, I got them mixed up.

Mine are the same color as the ones you're looking at. There was some slight curbing on a few of the wheels, but nothing major. I'd say the ones in your picture are in slightly better condition than mine were.

I paid $400 shipped from a member on this forum that is stationed in Malaysia or Singapore I believe. I'm guessing the shipping was pretty expensive, so I'd estimate that I paid about $300-350 for the wheels not including shipping. Maybe he got a good deal on shipping through the military, but I feel like I got a pretty decent deal on them. For the ones you're looking at, ~$400-450 shipped wouldn't seem too crazy to me.

P.S. I think these will look great on your car, the bronze kind of sticks out like a sore thumb on my OBP and doesn't really blend with anything, but on a white wagon I think it'll be perfect  ....and will look pretty JDM!

wow thats a pretty decent price you got...thanks for the info. the set i'm looking at is asking 650 (its a local pickup), but they are completely free of curb rash...i'll have to think about if it's worth the extra $$ for them being curb rash free...

Perhaps in the US.

All WRX's in Holland (And I am pretty sure in the whole EU) standard have these wheels in 17" with 215/45 tires.

Until 2000 the Impreza's all came with 16" wheels.(The earliest ones with 15")

A MY01, the first Impreza with std. 17"

Another example of the US automotive market getting the short end of the stick.

However, the OP is in the US (New York it looks like).

Strange Jap's.

Never understood why they made those different choices for the export markets anyway.

For Europe until 2001 they kept all the nice stuff to themselves, like the STI models, the STI Type-RA, type-R, etc.

From 1993-2001 the STI versions where not availlable here.

2001 we got the first (LHD)STI, and even that one had different gearratios, and was not as short as the Jap versions.

For real driving enthousiasts this was very frustrating.

The only option in those days was an Mitsubishi Evo, but we got 10 per year max...
