outahere
In the service manual for the 2005 LGT the instructions are not to reuse the bolt that attaches the front LCA to the crossmember and not to reuse the 2 bolts that attach the triangular support plate to the chassis, when reinstalling the LCA. Is buying new bolts overkill, or a necessity? The crossmember bolt gets torqued to 70 ft-lb, and the plate bolts get 110 ft-lb.
Bolksey85
*In for an answer* I'm having struts done shortly and have been contemplating just getting new hardware.
outahere
I ended up buying a new set of 6 locknuts (3 sizes) and 6 bolts (2 sizes) from the dealer, for $28.
