Cincy_Machine
Don't know where to put this question/problem. I have a 97 LGT. I just had a replacement transmission, axles and wheel bearing put in all due to torque bind that fried my transmission. All fluids are at the correct level. I feel a vibration under load while in gear at idle say at a stop light. The vibration in not present in park or neutral. I also do not fell any vibration while driving. This vibration was not present before the transmission replacement What is cause this vibration? Aaron Cincinnati

The car is an automatic and the trans work, axle was all work done under purchase agreement. So what should I look for when I pull a plug?

Tasio505
I have a '98 outback 2.5L that has done that same thing for some time. Just threw a rod at 250,000 miles though. Trying to get the replacement engine going right. I'll let you know if it still does it.
BrandonJ 2001 GT Limited
Mine does it occasionally too if I'm @ idle...I just did a plug and pcv valve change...havent changed wires nor coil yet. If I move to neutral, it goes away. I'm in the dealer today to get recalls covered....I'll let you know if they find anything associated to the idle shake. Amp2345
Certain aftermarket new axles cause vibration at idle in drive. Should have rebuilt them.
