mlwarriner
1995 legacy wagon. headlights work fine on dim. switch them to bright and they're gone. but if you leave them on dim, and pull the switch back toward the driver ("flashing the brights") they go to high beams. ????? Grinchy
Did you get under the hood and check to make sure your relay is still working? I'm not 100% about Subaru's but my eclipse had a relay for the lights.
subikid90
Your turn signal lever sounds like it is bad. There are metal contacts that turn the lights on and off and since your lights work when holding them on and not when locked on it makes me think that the contacts on one side have gone bad. Ive never replaced a Subaru turn signal lever but I have done it on other cars and its not too horrible. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
