icee0711
Ive got a 2005 legacy 2.5i with manual climate controls. I just swapped out the stereo to a newer one for a auxiliary input. New part = # 86201ag72a. It was a clean and easy job yet for some reason my heater doesnt work now. Everything else is fine. What did i miss? I dont think it makes any difference that i used my existing ac interface in place of the new one.i tried using the newer one after i discovered the problem and same problem. schwinn
If your new unit is not a manual-climate control system, then the HVAC system will not work. This is known (see my post her: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131474) If the new one is manual also, then we'd need more information on what, exactly, is not working. If the heat-selector isn't providing hot air, then maybe the damper-cable for the hot-side isn't connected? Incidentally, it's better to post such questions in the appropriate sub-forum, rather than the general "car" forum (ie, the forum I linked to).
