subiechick10
Hey guys, I lowered my car on Eibach springs and stock struts. The front looks the same and the back lowered alot. Is this normal? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v471/TimChick10/IMG_0076.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v471/TimChick10/IMG_0077.jpg
subiechick10
I just realized that I didnt put the bump stops on. Could that be the problem with the back?
08subaroo
I believe our cars suffer from a saggy butt lowered or not lol. My back end always sat lower even in the dealer photos when I purchased it. Mine is still on stock suspension.
bmx045
I just realized that I didnt put the bump stops on. Could that be the problem with the back? no. they don't affect ride height. though the tire might hit the fender when going over large bumps
N.sane
That looks really weird. The rears shouldnt be that low, especially with Eibach's. Are the shocks blown? I believe our cars suffer from a saggy butt lowered or not lol. My back end always sat lower even in the dealer photos when I purchased it. Mine is still on stock suspension. If you look at any car, the rear fenders always sit lower than the fronts, creating the illusion of a saggy butt. Doesnt matter if it's a Subaru or a BMW M3... http://www.bmw.ca/ca/en/newvehicles/mseries/m3coupe/2007/allfacts/design/_shared/img/aerodynamic.jpg
08subaroo
Very true. I noticed that too after reading your post. A car would appear lowered judging by the rear but when I pull up to the front the gap always gives it away that it's not.
blaze741
same my rear end has less than two finger gap on stock suspension -_- but front is about 4 fingers. they make saggy butt spacers. I've contemplated it even on my stock suspension.

I've contemplated it even on my stock suspension. the fender line is lower in the rear, as that was already discussed in this thread. the finger gap is irrelevant, go by ground clearance. and 08-09's do not exhibit saggy rear like previous years. burnout8488
It looks like your tire size is improper all the way around. They're way too close to the fenders. Too high and too wide. Are those 18's? They should be 225-40-18 if memory serves.
N.sane
The OP made another thread in another section of the forum. Turns out he/she installed Eibachs from the 10+ Legacy. Fail.

Jmhm17
its the 05-09 body style, i have not seen the new ones do it. mine was level till about 30k now the rear sits significantly lower. and its not the fenders, you can tell if you have leveld your headlights before and after the sag.. deffnot an illusion. I was thinking of getting rally teks to even it out.. PS: uhhh, does rallitek still make the springs for our cars? i cant find them.. ugh, i hate the new site..
