HollywoodGT
I recently moved to Raleigh, NC from SoCal and have some extra money to spend on the Legacy - I am looking to upgrade the uppipe and downpipe and wanted to find out if anyone knows of any good places/mechanics in eastern NC that I could take it to for the service? Also, will i run into any emmissions issues in NC by replacing those? - currently the only other mod I have is Cobb AP Stage 1 Thanks!

autoxdad
I am in Matthews- SE Charlotte, and Dale at Boxer4Racing has helped me out and is very trustworthy. Very good Subaru person. Stop by Charlotte some time and maybe we can run up there together. I got my catback and downpipe from him and am talking to him about more mods now, Dave

ece_tim
I live in Raleigh and the only Subaru-specific place I found is [ame=http://maps.google.com/maps?f=l&hl=en&q=johnson+import&near=garner,+nc&ie=UTF8&ll=35.719375,-78.61443&spn=0.025818,0.057421&om=1]Johnson & Johnson Import Specialists[/ame]. I had them remove a semi-stuck CV axle; reasonable price for the job and nice guys to boot. I'll be going back for further service

bzo
I recently had a 60k service done on my 05 Legacy GT ltd wagon at J&J. They replaced a squeaky, worn out power steering belt during the service. Everything was fine when I picked the car up but within a week the new belt was squealing again and it got progressively worse. I called them back and they explained how this could happen which I accepted but wasn't happy about coordinating another day without my car. The went WAY over and above my expectations and eliminated any inconvenience to me. Their only goal was my satisfaction. The car is perfect once again and the quality of their work and their customer service is unparalleled in my experience. I can't imagine finding a better shop.
