lilbrudder
I have had this problem in both my LGT and now in my Spec B. It happens when a I am turning at high speeds(on the freeway), feels like the seat is sliding sidways and then there is a clunk feeling(not audiable) where it stops. It does not move very far, maybe 1/8 inch....just enough to make me think something bad is going to happen then...clunk. Anyone else feel this or know what the cause is? zmarko
Check your seat bolts holding it to the floor. That's the only thing I can think of outside of something going on with a bad weld (but the odds of that happening in 2 cars is slim to none). Wang Lung
Mine has always done that. It's annoying, but not bad enough to do anything about it.
LosAngelesLGT
Hang on... Is it moving 1/8" measureable at the headrest or 1/8" measureable at the seat mount/rails/floor? If at the floor that is VERY alarming. Check the mounting bolts. If at the headrest, probably normal.
wengermi
my seat does not move. like losangeleslgt said check for loose mounting bolts or maybe try and move the seat by pushing and pulling it.

ALX2987
Im not sure if mine physically moves, but it def makes a sound, like the clunk you mentioned, and it squeaks too. I hate it
Morbane
I'd spend 5 minutes and pull the seat out to inspect for damages. To remove the 4 seat bolts you'll need a 14mm ratchet. There are also 5 wire connectors under the seat.
goneskiian
I noticed this happening after having the heater element replaced by the dealership. I'll have to do some checking of bolts too.
