xxirish83x
Just got the diagnosis my 08 LGT needs front and rear suspension work. 3/4 of the shocks have a slight leak. Nothing that really effects the ride yet, but its not going to get any better. With that being said im not looking to dump a ton of money into it. Dont really care to lower or raise the car much due to living in the city. Do you guys have any recommendations on new parts? I was looking at the bilstein HD struts but at 250 a piece it seems like it might be a bit overkill.
Nrw
Konis or Bilsteins.
xxirish83x
Konis or Bilsteins. Konis seem a bit weird "strut insert bolted into O.E. housing after cutting top and removing old internal parts".... is that normal? Forgive my noob questions but suspension is a thing i never really messed with
Nrw
Yup, that's how they keep Koni's affordable. They don't have to recreate the rest of the strut. It's not as hard as it seems. Measure twice cut ones.
idiot4hire
Yes it's normal. If your just DD'ing it with oem springs theres nothing wrong with kybs oem replacements

Xplosivo1
There is a group buy on right now for springs and struts from infamous performance, pretty good price for a full replacement.
