subaru guy 23
I have a 95 legacy and i guess my MAF sensor is malfunctioning. I've found quite a few on ebay being sold of off a hatchback which says it fits for a 95-99 legacy, but the part numbers do not match even tho they look the same. Is there a difference between sedan or hatchback version, or is there a difference between auto and manual trans??
jamesm113
you can try cleaning it first, use some MAF cleaner or non-chlorinated, leaves non-residue brake/parts cleaner, or electrical parts cleaner (again, make sure it leaves no residue). MAFs are very sensitive, but you have nothing to loose
