ndmx52
So while shopping for lowering springs I had a hard time finding pictures of the certain springs and the drop related to them, so I thought I would start a new thread to help future shoppers make their decision. (hopefully this becomes a 'sticky') So here are the rules to this thread: Post Pics of your car on lowering springs (before and after if you have them)List which springs you have installedList any specs you have on the springsList which struts you haveAdd any other suspension mods you may haveSize/Type Wheel on carFeel free to add comments on the springs you have With that said..... Lets see what you have Leggy owners!!!!!

sicklyscott
Alright, I'll bite, another chance to post pics of the car! I believe they're 18x8's Feel free to add comments on the springs you have These springs are pricey but honestly, they are perfect for my purpose. They handle amazing with the Koni's but give a great ride. The only I'd change about the suspension setup right now is maybe go with a less aggressive sway bar setup, it feels a bit too rough for everyday driving around here with all the uneven pavement. kw02webe
hi, i actually had a question - i recently bought tein s tech springs for my 09 leg. i was wondering if you can use the stock shocks and put these springs in. Also i hope someone knows what im talking about but on the shock theres that black thing that sticks out. can that be removed when you install the spring? becuz im running 18x8 wheels and they might slam into them if i drop. thanks

It's a little more firm over bumps, but that is to be expected from the crappy stock struts (will be replaced with Koni soon). It also reduced a noticeable amount of body roll, pitch, and dive. The drop is mild, but noticeable. No need to go sideways over speed bumps. If you have a front lip, steep driveways MIGHT need some sideways action though. Overall I'm quite happy with these as my first suspension upgrade.

Could not have any passengers in the rear or would rub. Ride is harsh with Stechs, will upgrade to coilovers next year. Although the Perrin sways set at stiffest setting helped out with the harsh ride from springs. Got 3/8" Saggy Butt Spacers from Paranoid Fabrications for the rear to lift car up sliglty so people can actually ride in the backseat of my car.
