Pedestrian
I have a 2005 LGT in white with the stock wing. I originally did not want the optional spoiler, but that was all they had on the lot at the time. I am looking for a straight up trade with anyone who has a wingless trunk lid. I have already debadged this one, so if you have a regular Legacy, there will be no "misrepresentation" issues. Please message me if you are interested. Thanks, Ben

Pedestrian
Does it really? Hmmm is the VIN number stamped on a removable plate, or is it stamped into the body of the trunk deck?
BrownBoy
It's actually a different tracking number type that is on a sticker, whether it is permanent or not, I'm not sure; mine's not even on right (its all folded up) But i dont think it would be reusable once taken off tho. Thrasher
I just spent $500 to have my spoiler removed, the holes welded closed, and resprayed. If I can sell my Royal Blue Pearl spoiler for $250, then it's not too bad. Some colors seem to look good with the spoiler, but I don't think rbp does. SUPERBU
Pedestrian.... I'm interested if we can figure out this VIN number issue. My best friend is a Subaru Mechanic so I will pick his brain. I have a Satin white 05 LGT sedan.

SUPERBU
Yikes!!! I was an inch away from spending $300.00 on a factory spoiler!! I'm calling my friend now.
SUPERBU
Ok.... He said not to worry; providing the parts are OEM and the car is not stolen. The vehicle VIN numbers are stamped in multiple places throughout the car so one missing is no big deal. You can PM me with any other details. laz
Good deal, but please tell me you took some pics? it is not everyday that you see two White Satin Pearl Legacy's together! X ---
Pedestrian
Funny that you mentioned that. Brad (SUPERBU) snapped a few shots before we parted ways for the night, Im not sure how they came out, but seeing the two satin whites cruising together was definately a beautiful sight Thanks again Brad, I have nothing but good things to say about our transaction, and he definately gets the thumbs up from me. It was great of you to provide the space and tools for the swap, and it was an absolute pleasure getting to meet you and your father (who also contributed quite generously to helping the swap). Im loving my new look, and Im hoping your loving yours. Dont you just love win win situations !!
