Aftermarket headlights? What are they?

Yeah, I did it myself. I can't really suggest that anyone else do this themself. It's really actually pretty hard to do and worth the price that Idriveslow charges to do it. But if you want to go ahead and give it a try, here's the write-up I did after doing my own.

Good luck if you try this yourself. I can be done, but just take it slow and be thoughtful about each step. :)

Leggy, thats cool - thanks, Ride looks slik!!

Chas - I'd prob end up doing it in Gold - after my intended mods first - so the car has an STi image and power to match ;) Good thing is that we can repaint it to black if I get tired of it.

Hi Guys,

Any1 out there willing to help me with a photoshop of my mags in gold, black and bronze please. I'm thinking of gloss black vinyl roof too.

Finally uploaded some pictures :-)

Tints look a lot darker than they are. Tints are 35% all around :-)

Rims look great. Personally, I think it would more "complete" with a centre cap but I am assuming the rims are made to be that way. 17" I assume?

The 35% tinting looks quite dark. Mine are 25% anti-smash-grab - looks the same as yours :)

@ Naseem: It's 18" Rota Gravel on stock 2.5i suspension. Also it has a Centercap, i just removed the Black 'R' logo metal type sticker that was on it. I like it simple & clean.

I think the 35% looks darker than it actually is due to sun setting from the rear of the car.

Here is my base 2.5i 2012 with alloy wheel package with 5% tint in the back and 35% on the front windows.

My mum's Honda Pilot is tinted, its a pain backing out at night and even worse when it rains because you can't stick your head out the window and can't look at the mirrors due to water. They look good but not worth the hassle to me.

I actually almost prefer the black mirrors on a white car...

I don't have any issues with the tint when backing up. I'm coming from 5 years of driving a Maxima that also was also tinted (though not as dark). The thing that gives me trouble when backing up is the height of the rear deck. The rear window is so short I can barely see out with the big rear end but I'm slowly getting used to it.

PDC's help there big time :)

Mine seems to work fine in the rain too - so that helps there too.
