Buying Gas

Recommended Posts

I have to admit I just love buying gas for my cars. I'm not sure why this random thought popped into my head, but I get a general joy out of filling the tank.

I'm only averaging about 17-18 mpg now on this stage 2 tune - blame my heavy foot. But even with the slightly less impressive MPG I still enjoy filling the tank.

Driving about 1200-2000 miles/month means I get to fill up regularly. I just love it. I know I'm odd but anyone else enjoy buying gas?

Almost $5/gal. here for Super 93.

I don't mind filling my car up, but my wallet HATES it.

You must be buying it near the indians (Foxwoods), in Tolland 93oct is like $4.01 a gallon.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

It's been $4/gal for 93 in metro Detroit.

I don't ever go out of my way to find cheaper gas, but on a road trip or something where you can choose where you stop, I use the GasBuddy app. It gives prices for various fuel grades, listed by location. You can search by city name or just anything in close proximity to your current location.
