ruudje
Hi guys, Some of you may have noticed the same (actually, my bud at the dealership does, and he drives an 2005 XT), on lateral bumps the rear of my OBXT wiggles like there's something loose in the rear suspension. Heard that the best solution would be a thicker sway bar. So.... I found this cheapie on (my fave) Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Whiteline-Rear-20mm-Anti-Sway-Bar-BSR39Z-05-Legacy-Outback-/260869771281?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cbd0cd011&vxp=mtr Are they any good? If not, what brand should I go after? Despite an array of SPT stuff my dealership doesn't know of any on-hand solutions and I do know that an Outback is not much more than a Legacy with raised suspension and a body kit. Right:spin:? Curious to know... after driving the old A4 for about 8 months my better half thought it would be nice to swap our rides for the remainder of this year (and I sold my 1980 Volvo last week). Thanks for the input.
Mega Users seabass07 Posted August 18, 2012 Mega Users Share Posted August 18, 2012 Replace the rear struts with 00-04 kyb struts. Problem solved. What you're talking about is more due to worn and horribly damped struts than a sway bar issue.
