Ari_OutbackWagon
I put in a Sachs clutch kit a few months ago when I swapped in a new engine. The master cylinder ended up leaking so I replaced it. Now the clutch engages incredible low, like 1" off the floor. I'm used to driving with it using the whole throw. It feels kinda sticky too since there a lot of spring in the other 2" or so that is left after it engages. Is there an adjustment I'm missing? Is it because of an aftermarket master cylinder? Very annoying.

ehsnils
I agree, also have someone press the pedal while you look at hos the slave cylinder moves. And check how much play you have between slave and clutch arm. Nothing wrong with a Sachs clutch, just be aware that you need to double-check to make sure that the movements are right and you didn't forget a spacer or so.
