What happens to my MAF scale??

Hi, guys! It seems i have a real problem with my subby. After a winter i decided to check it with LV and was unpleasantly:confused: suprised by all those negatives at A-D+. Ok, using Dweeb method, i corrected MAF scale subtracting some percents. Then after 2 days (the temperature was the same) i checked it again... well, the negatives were all the same! Hmm, i drove, i checked, i correct them again (down).

Ok, after some drive i saw LV and what?.. A-D+ remained all negatives!

Like this:

But i've already subtracted 6-8% from stock values at that CL area and my MAF is stock! Ok, i drove again with RR and obtained these results:

Original line, all down from 0:

Now what? If i'll subtract another 5% from the previous MAF scale, already reduced, i'll got the difference from the stock maf scale around -10-15% somewhere! And it's not normal! I can't reduce my maf scale permanently!

It's very similar to leak somewhere, but i checked everything, nothing... What do you think, guys? Thank you. (If you have difficulties by viewing the pictures, i can upload them from another site.)

P.S. Don't pay much attention to the left curve, it's due to one random point on the left. I'm more concerned about the right curve, is it normal that descent down? I have FMIC.

Ok, thank you, seabass07. Let's look for the leak again... You know, when it was very cold, my LV look almost ideal, after long day drive:

Does the temperature makes such a difference?

Did you mess with your airbox/airfilter recently? Not getting the box lined back up exactly right can cause that issue with the negative values.

I would start by putting the MAF back to stock (assuming it was stock before you started subtracting), Remove the air filter and inspect it for blockage, Reseat the air filter in the box and make sure everything is tight/look for any obvious vacuum leaks. Reset the ECU and go for a ride and post another LV.

Ok, thank you, guys! (Seabass07, you have the same car, i saw it!:) ) Guys, you are completely right, and i know what you are saying. Last outumn it happened, at one unknown service they put me non original airfilter and they put it wrong way. The result you can see below:

Did you see such LV before?;) But then i felt it inmediately and corrected it right away. As you can see, i have the whole history of my car:), and here the situation is not such obvious...

Ok, i'll check airfilter, first of all.

You might want to clean your maf sensor as well. Maybe check your intercooler for leaks. Look at the seam on the turbo side where the plastic meets the metal for oil seepage.

Seabass07, thanks for the hints. I'll inform the forum about the results.
