gcallahan Posted June 11, 2014 Share Posted June 11, 2014 I am rebuilding a 2.5 ready to install the pistons. But the oil ring groove on the piston is smaller than the ring size. The research I have done shows the oil ring to be 2.80 mm. My piston groove only measures 2.03 mm. Anyone ever had this before? 2.5 from an 06 Impreza.
