IDRVSLO Posted July 13, 2011 Share Posted July 13, 2011 Well I thought I would give this a shot since I did like the full wrapped hood before. This time I wanted to do a little something different. I did not want it to look like a CF hood even though everyone thought it was before. I just got tired of explaining that it was not...sort of this disappointing amazed look on their faces when they realized it was vinyl. I figured I would aim to make it flow with the lines since there is so much contrast with black on white. I know that it will be a 50/50 feeling but I am cool with that, I like it. I might wrap part of the scoop but I am sort of fond of the white look. Thoughts? Hate? Like? I really enjoy this, I don't agree that It needs to continue onto the trunk, i always felt it was a little off balance before, and this makes it all even out with the trunk IMHO. its fantastic! I've got some nasty discoloration on my hood from condesation from an AC that was seeping through a styrofoam wrap on the condensor. It looks like someone spilt skim milk on my black hood. Perhaps this is a good route to go, I'd love a CF hood, but the price is a bit high. How long did it take you to wrap it and (stupid question) did you take the hood off?
