SockMonkey
It's snappier with stronger, smoother pull all the way through the power band. So I started yesterday with a bunch of plans, air filter, oil change, plugs, wires, msd coil, 95 ej22 intake and grounding kit. First snag was I had the wrong ngk wires. I bought them second hand, but still new, but they are meant for the SOHC engine, not the DOHC in my 97 gt. So they were way too short. (Selling them $40 shipped, once I can confirm the right engine). In the end I ended up with just the stock coil and wires, my original oem coil was bad. But I did get new plugs, air filter, and the 95 intake in place. I love the added growl, and it has some great added power. But I bet most of that is from replacing the plugs, air filter and bad oem coil. Oh and I also reset the ECU. Anyway, just need the right wires and I'll finish her up. This way at least I can see the difference the msd coil makes. And throw on the grounding kit.
